No Clipping

No clipping is a denominator used when collision detection is turned off. This means the virtual environment will not check for any collisions between objects. Collision based interfaces such as haptics cease working under this condition, as the avatar passes through all objects without resistance. On the other hand, removing collision detection, offers a sharp performance boost.
